SRU, Chennai admissions 2016: Apply for Medical programmes

SRU, Chennai has invited applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its 4½ years and 1 year internship Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), 4 years and 1 year internship Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing and Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) programmes offered at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute and Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital for the commencing academic session.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

MBBS programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have studied in a recognised school and passed H.S.C. examination (academic stream of Class 12 curriculum) from any state board/CBSE/ISC (or) any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed by the MCI.

 BDS programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have studied in a recognised school and passed H.S.C.(Class 12) examination/equivalent examination and obtained a minimum of 50 percent of marks (in case of SC/ST & OBC 40 percent) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and passing marks in English.

 

Selection procedure

An entrance examination will be conducted by the institute for selecting the candidates.
