DIAT, Pune commences its admission process for M.Tech programmes

The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT),

 DIAT, Pune has invited applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme offered in the following disciplines for the July session:

Aerospace Engineering
 Mechanical Engineering
 Computer Science Engineering
 Electronics and Communication Engineering
 Material Science
 Chemical Technology
 Modelling and Simulation
 Sensor Technology/Laser and Electro-Optics (LEOC)
 Technology Management
 The duration of the programme is of two years. The candidates are required to submit separate applications for each specialisation.
 Scholarship
 Scholarship category students are eligible for applying for scholarship (Rs 12,400 per month) under DBT scheme of AICTE, during the M.Tech course, subject to attendance. No financial support will be available from DIAT (DU), Pune.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

The candidates interested in applying for this programme must be holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master's degree in Science as applicable to the programme with 55 percent aggregate marks/5.5 CGPA and a valid GATE score.

Age limit:

The age of the candidates applying for the course should not be more than 26 years as on July 1, 2016.

The admission for this course will be made on the basis of the GATE score.
