Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research
JNCASR, Bangalore has invited
eligible candidates for admission to
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Engineering and Integrated Ph.D, and Master of
Science (M.S) program by research for the academic year 2016.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Ph.D Programs:
The candidates with a degree in these discipline, including Master of Science(M. Sc), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology(B Tech) , Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)/ Master of Engineering (M E), Master of Technology (M. Tech) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), are eligible to apply.
They should have at least 50 percent marks in their highest university examination and should also have qualified in the GATE / Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) / UGC / Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) - National Eligibility Test (NET) - Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)/Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) - JRF / DBT-JRF/JEST / INSPIRE (Fellowship).
The certificate of these examinations should be validity 1 January 2016. Generally, ME/M.Tech students are required to qualify one of the exams mentioned above, however, exceptional candidates without these exams might be considered, too.
For M.S (Engineering)/M.S (Research) Programs:
The candidates with the degree of M.Sc, B E, B Tech,
B.Pharm. M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply. They should have at least
50 percent marks in their degree programme and should also have qualified in
the GATE / Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) /UGC/ Council of Scientific
& Industrial Research (CSIR)-NET-JRF / ICMR - JRF / DBT-JRF/JEST
/INSPIRE(JRF).
