 Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination


The results for UPPGMEE, are likely to be declared on March 20. All those candidates who have applied for the same can check it at the official website of King George's Medical University Lucknow www.kgmu.org.


This exam was conducted on March 13 to fill 425 post graduate seats. In order to keep exam free of imposters, a biometric system was introduced. The tentative date of commencement of first counselling is March 27. The last date for joining the allotted seat from first counselling is April 7. This is a paper based state level exam which is conducted for all aspirants, who are seeking admission in various postgraduate programmes in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses.


Cut off marks


General category candidates will have to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks, and the reserved category candidates must have a minimum of 40 percent marks to qualify the admissions to the postgraduate medical/dental course. The general category physically handicapped student will have to secure a minimum of 45 percent for qualifying. Here, qualifying does not mean admission in the course.


Total available AIQ (All India Quota) seats are 340.

Enter the username and password
Click on login
The results will display on your screen
Download the same and take a printout for further reference
