The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)has released the provisional allotment (reserve list) for CWE Clerks -IV/PO/MT-IV/SPL-IV. The candidates can check the reserve list from the official website, the link for which is ibps.in.
How to check?In order to check the list, the candidates should follow the steps listed below:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

The results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be declared on March 19. After the declaration of the results, candidates can download their GATE 2016 score card from the official website, the link for which is http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in.

The score cards will be issued to:

All SC/ST/PwD candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their papers

All other candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying mark of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers.

Calculation of GATE 2016 ScoreIn 2016, examination for CE, CS, EC, EE and ME papers is being held in multi-sessions. 

Hence, for these papers, a suitable normalisation is applied to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions.

The normalisation is done based on the fundamental assumption that "in all multi-session GATE papers, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the sessions".

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate. The score is used for admissions to various post-graduate education programs (e.g. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Doctor of Philosophy) in Indian higher education institutes, with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other government agencies. Recently, GATE scores are also being used by several Indian public sector undertakings (i.e., government-owned companies) for recruiting graduate engineers in entry-level positions. The exam is scheduled from April 19 to 25.
The paper will consist of objective type questions divided into the following parts:

Part 3: Chemistry for 105 marks
Part 4: Biology for 105 marks

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

A total of 9,71,831 candidates have registered for GATE 2016, while 8,18,850 students have appeared for the test, of whom 6,81,441 are male and 2,90,347 are female candidates. The GATE score card will be valid for a period of three years after the declaration of the results. MAHCET 2016 Result declared: 9 students score 99.99%


The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) had released the result of its MAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) on Friday, March 25, for admissions to MBA/ MMS/ PGDM course across the B-schools in Maharashtra. Out of the 69,319 candidates who appeared for this exam, 9 candidates have scored 151 to 165 and have been awarded the highest percentile of 99.99 in MAHCET. 
The candidates can download their score card by visiting the official website of DTE Maharashtra,www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in The marks have been displayed in the percentage format on the MAHMBA/MS-CET 2016 score board.
The council has awarded equal percentile (99.99) for all students who scored between 151 and 165 out of 200 marks. 
The candidates securing zero and above positive marks are found eligible to get admission to MBA/ MMS/ PGDBM/ PGDM courses in the state of Maharashtra. 
This year, out of the 74,000 candidates who had registered for MAHCET 2016, the council declared the result of 69,319 candidates, which shows the high interest of the candidates to pursue their career in MBA/ MMS from the leading B-Schools in Maharashtra.

Assam CEE 2016 Exam dates released


Assam Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
 Dibrugarh University, Assam has announced dates for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2016. Assam CEE exams for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BE/B.Tech courses in the colleges of Assam will be conducted by Dibrugarh University. The examination will be held on May 14 and May 15, 2016.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must pass in all the four subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, biology and English of the qualifying examination in the same sitting and without grace marks.
The candidate must obtain a minimum of 60 percent marks taken together in physics, chemistry and biology at the qualifying examination in case of candidates belonging to general/unreserved/open category.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC categories must obtain a minimum of 50 percent marks taken together in physics, chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination
Age limit:
Candidates interested in applying for the courses must not be below 17 years and above 24 years of age on December 31, 2016.

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses, candidates need to pay Rs 1240/.
For Engineering degree courses, candidates have to pay Rs 1240/-.
Candidates who are applying for both the courses need to pay Rs 1540/-.
The candidates have to deposit the prescribed amount, along with a bank charge of Rs. 60/- in cash, at any branch of the State Bank of India by using the bank challan generated after completion of online submission of application form.

Maharashtra government's State Common Entrance Test
Maharashtra government's State Common Entrance Test Cell will be conducting the MHT CET 2016 for admissions to degree courses of health sciences (MBBBS, BDS, BAMS BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BA SLP, BP&O and B.Sc Nursing, BV.Sc and AH) and Technical Education (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Pharm. D) for the academic year 2016-17.
The MHT CET 2016 exams are scheduled to be held on May 5, 2016.
Paper pattern:
  • The MHT-CET-2016 will consist of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks
  • Paper1 will comprise physics and chemistry and will carry 50 marks each. All the questions will carry 1 mark each and there will be 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ) for every subject
  • Paper 2 will comprise biology (botany) and biology (zoology) and will carry 50 marks each. All the questions will carry 1 mark each and there will be 50 MCQs for every subject
  • Paper 3 will have mathematics and will carry 100 marks. All the questions will carry 2 mark each and will have 50 MCQs
  • There will be no choice between questions i.e. candidates will have to answer all the questions
  • The candidates will have to choose one option as their answer from the four choices provided. Each correct answer will be marked. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers
  • Candidates should be sure of the answers before marking them in the OMR sheet as changing an answer is not allowed. In case an answer is changed, it will be marked as invalid/incorrect response.
