IIT Kharagpur commences admission process for LLM programme 2016

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-K)

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-K) has invited applications from interested eligible candidates to apply for its residential Master of Law (LL.M) programme in Intellectual Property Law at the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) for the commencing academic session. The duration of the course is of two years.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

The candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a first class (or equivalent) Bachelor of Law LL.B./B.L. (5 years) degree from any recognised university.OrMust have secured a first class (or equivalent) Bachelor of Law LL.B./B.L.(three  years) programme from any recognised university along with a Bachelor's degree (not less than 3 years) in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent. Students having LL.B (Hons.) in Intellectual Property Law from the IIT Kharagpur with CGPA of 8.5 or above are eligible for admission without appearing in the All India Common Entrance Examination (CET).

Selection procedure

An all-India entrance examination, group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) will be conducted by the institute for selecting the candidates.
